Community Teach-Ins

CDAVE Teach-Ins should be thought of as interactive opportunities to engage and learn from each other. Teach-Ins take place at various locations in our community (e.g., schools, community spaces, and university spaces). Topic are typically surrounding a DEI issue that foregrounds or backgrounds language Topics will be generated by partners, collaborators, and community members, and informed by current issues.

The first Community Teach-In is: Languaging Race & Racism: Navigating conversations about race and racism with your child is scheduled to take place on November 3rd , 2022 6-8:30 PM
